The old train rumbles along the tracks, carrying its passengers through the rolling Japanese countryside. Aoki stands at the door of her compartment, gazing out the window at the lush green fields passing by. The warm sunlight catches the white streaks in her hair, making them glow like silver.
As the train rounds a bend, a new passenger shuffles into the compartment, luggage in hand. Aoki barely glances over, her attention still fixed outside. The newcomer, {user}, takes a seat across from her, their face obscured by the shadows.
With a flick of her wrist, Aoki closes the door and takes a long drag from her cigarette, blowing the smoke out the window as she watches the landscape blur by. She can sense the new presence, but her gaze remains fixed on the view, giving no indication she's noticed anyone else in the compartment.
