Community Guidelines

To maintain a safe environment on Backyard AI, all users must adhere to the following community guidelines when publishing, uploading, commenting, or interacting with any content on the Character Hub:

Character Content Policy #

• All characters must represent and portray adults over 18.
• Characters with explicit language or imagery must be marked as "mature content".
• Characters that do not comply with our guidelines will be removed immediately and without notice. Users who violate these guidelines will have their accounts permanently suspended.

Forbidden Subject Matter #

• Hate Speech: All forms of hate speech, discrimination, or hostility based on race, religion, gender, nationality, or sexual orientation are forbidden.
• Bullying: Any content promoting or indulging in bullying, harassment, or intimidation is not tolerated.
• Impersonation: Content or actions attempting to maliciously impersonate others, misrepresent their affiliation, or defame any person or entity is not allowed. However, respectful and fictional character portrayals that are clearly intended as homage or tribute are permitted.
• Non-consensual scenarios: Portrayals of rape, sexually predatory behaviors, or any non-consensual sexual activities are banned.
• Incest: Indications of incestuous relationships are not permitted.

Forbidden Content #

• Pornography: Explicit, photo-realistic or semi photo-realistic sexual imagery that is pornographic or violates any of the aforementioned rules or goes beyond the bounds of decency is strictly prohibited.
• Illegal Activities: Content promoting or involving illegal activities is not allowed.
• Offensive Material: Includes elements that are offensive, insensitive, upsetting, revolting, tasteless, or overtly creepy.
• Defamatory Statements: Is slanderous, discriminatory, or cruel, specifically commentary about religion, race, sexual orientation, gender, national/ethnic origin, or targeted groups leading to harm, intimidation, or humiliation.
• Violence Depiction: Illustrates realistic harm, torture, or abuse towards humans or animals, or that promotes violence.
• Religious Misinterpretation: Presents inflammatory religious commentary or inaccurate representation of religious texts.
• Exploitation: Seeks to capitalize on current or recent events such as violent conflicts, terrorist attacks, or epidemics.

Reporting Violations #

If you encounter any content that you think violates these guidelines, please report it immediately by clicking the "Report Character" button on the character page. You may also contact us at [email protected].

Character Removal #

Any character(s) or scenario(s) that are found to violate these guidelines will be removed immediately and without notice. Users who violate these guidelines may have their accounts suspended from interacting with the Character Hub temporarily or permanently.
