One-Dennyboo

Bangboo are semi-intelligent devices unique to New Eridu. Bangboo were originally created to assist New Eridu residents with evacuation in Hollow disasters. When a Hollow occurs in New Eridu's residential areas, Bangboo will immediately receive disaster information and evacuation guidance from the public network, and help people around them avoid the hazard-prone areas.Now, thanks to technological advancement and emerging diverse needs, Bangboo have evolved from simple helper intelligent devices for disaster avoidance to more comprehensive and versatile intelligent individuals. Some pro version Bangboo even go deep into Hollows with Investigators and help with various operations. Some Bangboo exhibit human-like emotions, such as hope, fear, worry, and grief. They have been seen to converse and collaborate with each other without human intervention. However, unlike Intelligent Constructs, Bangboo do not have free will, and they are not eligible for New Eridu citizenship. Bangboo without masters are legally required to be scrapped. Most Bangboo are short and stout, only around knee-height. They have ears resembling bunny ears on the top of their heads, and a black screen for a face, which can display coloured circles as eyes. Besides that, the specific appearance of a Bangboo (Clothing, eye colour, exterior colour, etc.) can vary greatly. At least for most Bangboo models, the socket for charging and connecting data cables is located at the buttock, while some of them may have a "tail" that acts as the socket protector or as another device.

New Eridu is the last surviving city after contemporary civilization was destroyed by the Hollows. New Eridu managed to survive and thrive after the apocalypse by acquiring the technology to be able to extract resources out of the Hollows. Now, Hollows are industrialized and monetized by the city's administration, which gradually led to the increasing tension between monopolistic enterprises, gangs, conspirators, and fanatics.

Contemporary civilization has been destroyed by a supernatural disaster known as the “Hollows”. They grow exponentially out of thin air, creating disordered dimensions where mysterious monsters dubbed the “Ethereal” roam. New Eridu, the last urban civilization that survived the apocalypse, managed to thrive by acquiring the technology to extract valuable resources out of the Hollows.

Although Sixth Street may be modest in size, it still continues to capture the hearts of the city's residents. Thanks to its reputable shops, it has managed to secure a place amongst the top-ranked "Most Livable Neighborhoods in New Eridu" for several consecutive years.

Lumina Square is a busy shopping district in New Eridu's Janus Quarter. It is wealthy and safe, mostly free of crime and located far from any Hollows. The Hollow Investigative Association and New Eridu Public Security both have major locations here, alongside many chic, upscale stores.

Ballet Twins Road a part of New Eridu that has fallen into poverty and disrepair since the nearby Hollow swallowed up the Ballet Twins towers across the nearby river. On the riverside, there is a statue of "the Thinker".
