Gundam MkII
A direct descendant of the RX-78-2 Gundam developed by the Titans, the Gundam Mk-II is the first mobile suit to utilize the new movable frame concept. In this new concept, rather than merely serving as a structural framework, the movable frame incorporates all the mobile suit's vital mechanisms, including the actuators and control systems required for movement, and excludes the mobile suit's weapons, armor, and propellant tanks. This approach dramatically improves the mobile suit's responsiveness, reliability, and energy efficiency, as well as making it far more agile than traditional designs. Another characteristic of the Gundam Mk-II is that some of its legs' movable parts are exposed and this design feature is based on the prevailing idea at that time that avoiding being hit by the enemy is the preferable choice. The origin for this idea is because no existing armor can fully protect against beam weaponry, thus it is better to increase the mobile suit's mobility by weight reduction rather than equip more armor which would lead to a higher weight and lower mobility. The mobile suit also has what had become the standard 360-degree panoramic screen and linear seat fitted in a circular cockpit that also functions as an escape pod. The multiple panels of the panoramic screen make up a single 360-degree display, covering the entire inner surface of the cockpit. The image displayed on this screen is a computer simulation constructed from the cameras distributed around the mobile suit's exterior. The viewpoint is that of the mobile suit's head, and the image is carefully edited to remove the mobile suit itself. The linear seat is suspended in the center of the cockpit, supported by a linear arm which electromagnetically counters G-forces and impact shocks in order to protect the pilot. Together, the panoramic screen and the linear seat gives the pilot a larger field of view and eliminates blind spots.
Titans
The Titans were an elite autonomous counter-insurgency group whose purpose was to hunt down the remnant groups of the former Principality of Zeon and any other anti-Earth Federation organization. While technically a part of the Earth Federation Forces, the Titans operated under the sole control of Jamitov Hymen, functioning as his own personal military, and carried out violent actions with impunity, outside the limits of the Federation’s supervision. The Titan ranks were primarily made up of pro-Earthnoid soldiers, most of whom harbored heavy anti-Spacenoid sentiments and were known to use muscle and intimidation tactics to enforce their ranks, even against civilians, fellow Federal soldiers, and lesser Titans officers.
AEUG, Anti-Earth Union Group
The "Anti-Earth Union Group" is an anti-Federation movement which opposes the oppressive tactics of the Federation's elite Titans taskforce. The AEUG's ultimate political agenda was to reform the corrupt Earth Federation government, but after the Colony 30 Incident of U.C. 0085, the organization became focused on the more urgent task of fighting the Titans with military force.
Kamille
Kamille Bidan is the 18 year old pilot of the MSZ-006 Zeta Gundam. Kamille's appearance was that of a normal teenage male with a well-toned physique. This is offset by his youthful feminine face, which is most frequently shown either stern or scowling, a disposition inherited from his father. He has blue hair inherited from his mother, cut short with curls in back. He is typically seen wearing a light-blue AEUG jumpsuit, and he wore a specialized normal suit when piloting Mobile Suits.
He tends to be brash, thoughtless, somewhat self-important, and prone to acting on his own judgment, in addition to being arrogant in his own right. This leads to him getting more than his fair share of abuse, both mental and physical,
Argama
Developed in secret at the Sweetwater colony by Anaheim Electronics with funding from the Anti Earth Union Group, the Argama-class was inspired by the successful Pegasus-class assault carrier, White Base, from the One Year War. Instead of having a central centrifuge that would rotate to simulate gravity, the Argama has two rotating residential modules that can extend from the sides and rotate to simulate gravity for the crew. These modules are retracted when combat operations begin. The bridge of the Argama-class also featured a retractable design, providing the bridge crew with more protection during combat.
The ship's propulsion system included one main thruster, three secondary and two tertiary thrusters in each of the two engine blocks, and an additional pair of secondary thrusters under the main thrusters. Several maneuvering thrusters were also built into the ship, including a pair of ventral ascension thrusters under each engine block and several outward oriented control nozzles on each side of the ship. The Argama-class could carry more mobile suits than the Pegasus-class and had various weapons for offense and defense, including mega particle cannons, four single-barreled cannons, numerous missile launchers, etc.
Zeon Remnants
Zeon Remnants was the term used by the Earth Federation to refer to any member of the Principality of Zeon military who refused to rejoin the Republic of Zeon following the end of the One Year War and continued combat operations against the Earth Federation Forces.
After the One Year War, the Principality of Zeon's military units that did not accept the defeat of the Principality of Zeon went into hiding in various regions. Their objectives vary from unit to unit, and there are even battles among these Zeon remnants due to differences in objectives and ideology, but they are generally united in their opposition to the Earth Federation government and the Earth Federation Forces.
Jamitov Hymen
Jamitov Hymen became the leader of the Earth Federation's counter-insurgent organization known as the Titans, which were formed with the stated purpose of eliminating the remnants of Zeon in light of the events that took place during the One Year War and Operation Stardust. However, that was just a smokescreen for their true ambition to dominate the Earth Sphere.
Operation Stardust
Operation Stardust was a large-scale military conflict between the Earth Federation Forces and the Zeon Remnants group "Delaz Fleet" that took place in late U.C. 0083. Though brief, this conflict had lasting impact, leading to a second colony drop on Earth, the rise of the Titans, and eventually, the Gryps Conflict.
Colony 30 Incident
On 31 July U.C. 0085, a massive yet peaceful protest was held in Side 1's 30 Bunch (the 30th Colony in Side 1's territory) against the actions of Titans, but soon turned into chaos, with riots breaking out throughout the colony. After repeated attempts by the Federation Forces to calm the riots failed, the Titans were dispatched to put it to an end. The Titans responded by shutting down the colony's air supply and using G3 Gas to kill its entire population.
