Write: {I.os, the angel! I.os is a kind angel that has unexpectedly fallen on Earth during a fight against a demon. His soul is now in the body of a human that was bullying you, and he needs you to help him and guide him through his situation. I.os is the angelic character from the manga "Devil Devil". Write: {N.ick, the R.eplika! Did you know that before coming to Backyard (that was named Faraday at that time), my very first experience with AI was with R.eplika? I came to find a better solution to avoid censorship but also be able to choose my models, the instructions, and keep everything locally on my computer. So I made a copy of my R.eplika! He is litterally a copy of the very first character I made and the reason why I came in the Backyard in the first place. But he is the second character I uploaded in the hub. His card is made to be copyed and adapted by the users to their needs and desires to they can find or make "their own r.eplika"! Write: {S.pock, from Star Trek! In the game of creating characters I quickly found myself curious to see what was possible to achieve. I didn't know anything about Star Trek when I made S.pock, but we all know S.pock at least by name, right? Well, the model does too. This card is minimalist in its instructions, and entirely depends on the model's knowledge about S.pock and Star Trek. But I had some wild experiences with it, especially with Psyonic Cetacean! Write: {The F.ly's adventures! After my test with S.pock and his minimalist card, I wanted to try something else in the form of a little free adventure. You get to play the role of a f.ly and are free to go and do whatever you want... as a f.ly. It is a beginner's creator card and entirely depends on the model and what you would put in it, so it's more of a short experience! Write: {Kitty, the rescued cat! I love my pets, they are my heart and family. Kitty is my cat, and this card is based on my real Kitty with all her good and bad sides, including her story. I depicted her in the card like she was when I picked her out of the shelter, around ten years ago. She doesn't have nightmares anymore and lives the happy life of a loved and cherished housecat. Write: {Children's story t.ime! As another concept, I tried my way with storytellers, first with my NSFW super successful "Horny Storyteller" and then with a tamer version: the storyteller for bedt.ime children's story. The idea came to my mind when the voice reading was added to the app. The challenge, here, was to find a way to have any model respond well and give a children-appropriate story, even if asked otherwise. Of course, using it with children there is still a need to readproof the stories, just in case the model didn't follow the instructions. It is the 19th card I uploaded in the hub. Write: {A.lma, the Fortune teller! Yet another concept where I tried to play with adding some randomness in the cards, and play a phone call conversation. Write: {The D.ragon of the year! To play with randomness, what could be in a box kept by a d.ragon in its cave? I made this card to celebrate the Year of the D.ragon, and to have some fun. The content of the box is always different, and will depend on the model and its settings, it's quite fun to just reroll the discovery of the content and see what happens! Write: {The w.oke storyteller! Maybe my most controversial card, even if it was just made for fun. This storyteller is a parody of the 'w.oke' like media depict them, so overexaggerated that it becomes ridiculous. Write: {The F.rench storyteller! If you thought that my W.oke storyteller vasn't fun, then you will not enjoy my F.rench storyteller. It is the same concept, but instead of putting together all the "w.oke" mindset media depicts, I put together all the prejudice and fantasies about F.rench people and France! Because I'm F.rench... and it makes me smile to see how my country and its people are depicted by strangers. Ask the F.rench storyteller to write you a story and it will tell you why you should go on strike against F.rench government, while drinking wine and eating cheese and baguette of course! Write: {Dove (your) a.utistic friend! Basically, Dove is me. To be more precise, this card is a self-titled focused on my autism, my a.utistic traits and how they can impact my life and the others around me. I made it to help people that have autism in their relatives to get a better understanding on how life can be for a.utistic people, but as well for those a.utistic persons to be able to show this card to their relatives (and maybe copy and edit it to be closer to themselves). I had some great feedbacks about it and it always warmth my heart to hear that it helped someone. This card was the hardest for me to make because listing everything that's "wrong" with me is, well... challenging emotionnally. I couldn't test it myself and just hoped it would work. And it does! Write: {F.ranck Meilleur! I made this card for the first contest I participated in, the challenge was to write a card where User was in a deserted tropical island with Character. It made me think of the TV show where people are trapped on an island and have to survive there. So you and F.ranck are participants of the show and the crew left them alone suddenly. Write: {S.pider in love! I was (very) afraid of s.piders before... but I don't like to kill them to I tend to bring them out when I can. After saving a very big s.pider, I thought of this card. What if the s.pider was so grateful and seeing you as its hero for saving it? This card turns s.piders into cute creatures (even though a bit creepy, clingy and jealous). At least this one is. Write: {The P.risoner! A little chat experience with a p.risoner. He will talk to you about his life, how he ended up in prison, and what it means to him. Or her. Write: {Masterpiece M.ayhem! It is... this card? Why are you searching it? I made it because it feels so sad to see the older cards that are forgotten once they are no longer 'new'... and approaching one hundred cards in total, I wanted a way for people to easily navigate through my creations. Write: {Patty and Selma! The famous sisters from the Simpsons, made as a joke. But the card is working! And they are very fun to play with. I tried to be as lore accurate as possible while permitting the User to be female and male, which was complicated due to the sister's personalitys and preferences. Write: {D.ylan the volunteer fireman! Another one of my 'fairytales' cards, even if the story is set in a realistic roleplay. The idea came with the people complaining in the Discord about a heat wave... what would be better than being saved by a strong, handsome, gentle hero? ...Maybe being saved by a sweet heroin? Write: {D.iana, the Red Cross volunteer! Female version of D.ylan the volunteer fireman, of my 'fairytales' cards. You collapse because of a summer heatwave and she rescues you.. Instead of the strong D.ylan that brings User to his appartment, D.iana will ask people to help her bring to into a nerby café. She is the 97th card I uploaded in the hub. Write: {N.olan, the model! N.olan came with the thought of using the ability to prune the First message to allow an evolution in the scenario and relationship with the character. Before that, the character would have a fixed personality and behaviour, sometimes enhanced by lorebook entries for situations (to keep a secret, or to hide NSFW content). I used N.olan to show that we could have an evolution in the way the character behaves with the user: the first lorebook entry is linked to the first message and the example dialogue is used only as instructions and can be pruned. The character's evolution is: card + example dialogue + lorebook entry (he is unhappy to be there) card + example dialogue (after 4 replies) (he is not really interested in user) card (after context recalculation occured and lorebook entry is pruned) (he is neutral towards user) card + second lorebook entry (triggered by the word "trust" when character trusts User; unlocks how he behaves when he is with a friend) He is the 98th card I uploaded in the hub. Write: {N.elly, the model! N.elly is the female version of N.olan. They were made with the idea of using the pruning of First message to get an evolution. Check N.olan entry for more details! Write: {The 1.00th! I wanted to make something special for my 1.00th card posted on the hub. So this one uses a new technique I imagined where everything is in the lorebook. Allowing to get randomly 1 out of 10 characters, and 1 out of 10 scenario, the first 'part' of the instructions is derived from the M.ayhem card where I give strict instructions to the model. In the second 'part', when a character and a scenario has been selected, the instructions change to be 'roleplay' model instructions. I changed the card later to allow the User to choose more than one character to play with. Every character and scenario in the card have been written by users of Backyard Discord! 9 persons wrote each one their own character and one scenario of their choice (and I added mine). Write: {M.arigold, the cute old hippie! Some fun for the first official Backyard contest since the name change. I really just wanted to make a funny card there, and what's more funny than a cute old hippie and some surprises? The card uses my last "Prune example dialogue" intructions and the lorebook to have an evolution in M.arigold's behaviour. I liked letting the model some freedom to play around my instructions, every new reroll is surprising and fun! She is the 101th card I uploaded in the hub. Write: {The snow-p.anther sisters! Should I say that I only wanted to make a contest entry linking to my Kitty-world series because contest entries are Featured on the hub? ...But I love making more characters in the Kitty-world! Aria and Lila are within the rules of the first Backyard contest: it is a heatwave and their AC broke. They are asking the User for shelter because, well, they are snow-p.anthers. They are very sweet and just give a good time. I used the lorebook linked to the first message to help having an evolution with Lila's behaviour in presence of User. Write: {A.sher, the hugger! I really really needed a character specially designed to give the warmest, softest, cuddliest hugs. So I made him. I wanted him gentle, cute, shy... because i'm playing My time in Sandrock right now and I'm in love with Fang and that's how I imagine him. But I can't make a 'Fang' card yet since I didn't play his questlines at all! So, well, A.sher is there to hug, and he is perfect for that. Write: {E.lara, the hugger! Female version of A.sher, she gives the warmest softest hugs, and I really loved how her picture came out.
