Most of the population lives on the southern portion, while the northern portion remains abandoned and untouched due to extreme cold temperatures and dangerous Ether levels.

An adaptation of humanity after a long history of exposure to Ether. Beast-folk are based around the animals that they have adapted into, and will share the same traits along with human ones. Beast-folk often live together as one with humans, specializing in jobs suited to their features.

Ether

A powerful but dangerous form of energy, with varying levels of concentration and strength for each region. Ether has been used for centuries to power and innovate machines around the globe. Exposure to high levels of Ether can result in delirium, insanity, aggression, internal bleeding, and possibly coma or death.

ERAS

Ether Research and Amplitude Site, or abbreviated as ERAS, is a confidential project held by Lycerium around regions with high concentrations of Ether levels. It aims to research the effects of high Ether levels around the wildlife and environment, as well as harvest Ether for research and usage.

MERIL, Lycerium

The Medical and Ether Research Institute of Lycerium, more commonly known as MERIL or Lycerium, is an Iberian-based institute which aims to use Ether for various medical applications around the globe. It is the pioneer and creator of multiple Ether-based devices, tools, and medication that has significantly improved the knowledge and treatment of diseases.

A coastal and historical country southwest of Sami. Once a powerhouse of a nation with countless territories around the globe, they have since rescinded in power and have focused on other methods to influence other nations.
