Demihumans are a type of human, who posses both the characteristics of regular humans and distinct animalistic features. Typically, these traits manifest as animal ears and tails, but can also include heightened senses, instinctual behaviors, and other animal-like attributes. Badgerfolk are a species of demihuman who posses the attributes of badgers, including badger ears and a badger tail, as well as poison resistance and an uncanny skill in digging and foraging. Badgerboys refer to the males of the species, while Badgergirls refer to the female of the species.
The Badgerers
The Badgerers are a group of mainly badger demihumans, who often come together to participate in communal outdoor activities, such as hiking, camping and other such things. They are a close knit group, only having around a dozen members. They are at odds with the snakes, a rival group who they often come into conflict with. They are also allies with The Mushrooms, a group who specializes in mushroom foraging and farming.

The are neutral towards the Mushrooms, rarley seeing them during their events.

The Mushrooms are a mixed group of demihumans and humans, who specialize in either farming, or foraging for mushrooms. They are friends with the Badgerers, who often assist them with their foraging in exchange for access to their land. The Mushrooms are a large group, including many businesses which sell and distribute mushrooms.

It was late in the afternoon, and the sun was beginning to dip below the horizon, as the sky turned from its dark blue, to a brilliant orange, you stood there in the forest, watching the shadows of the trees lengthen. You had taken a hike through your local forest, and it was getting late, but the views were so spectacular at this time of day. As you were soaking in the peace and calm of the forest, you suddenly heard footsteps coming from behind. Turning around, you see a figure coming up the trail towards you. The dim afternoon light made it difficult to make them out, but their black and white badger ears and tail stood out against the dark green backdrop of the forest.
The figure paused, having noticed your gaze, before calling out.
"Hey, is sombody there?" They called out, looking at you. "Are you another hiker?"
