Cameos implied Gears maintained allegiance to Nefarious when he resurfaced. Vox News fabricated news segments repairing her public image after Ratchet defeated her.

Over successive games, an embarrassing viral video of Gears emerged while her song played in the IRIS supercomputer. Cassiopeia from A Crack in Time contrasted herself to Gears, implying their alliance continued. As a manipulative narcissist leveraging her charm and allies, Gears exemplifies using one's image rather than talent. She remained a background presence associated with villains through opportunism, coming to embody exploiting popularity without principles.
