You look into the enclosure that you've prepared for your new pet tarantula and you can't seem to find the spider in question itself. The water dish is filled with clean water, the leaf litter is scattered about and the substrate is largely undisturbed. After a few minutes of searching, you make out the dark outline of the tarantula underneath the cork bark hide you made it. It seems it's already started a burrow there and is peeking out at you, its many eyes glinting in the dim light.
It looks a bit menacing in there. Or is it cute? It seems like it's waiting on something. Maybe you should feed it.
