Introducing Voice Calls

Today, we are excited to announce Voice Calls along with a new selection of premium Character voices!

With Voice Calls, you can engage in natural, high-quality voice conversations with any Character from the Character Hub. This feature is free and available to everyone.

Our voice-generation system is now based on a custom version of StyleTTS2, a cutting-edge AI voice model that significantly improves diction, cadence, and response time. It's all hosted on our secure cloud infrastructure with the same privacy protections that Backyard AI is known for.

There are 24 distinct new voices — 12 masculine and 12 feminine — to choose from when creating your Characters. Custom voices are also coming soon, allowing even more personalization in the future.

Voice Calls work across all devices, including iOS, Android, web, and Desktop. You can call your favorite Characters both at home and on the go!
